Op Amp Differential Amplifier Calculator

Differential amplifier calculator is an online engineering tool to help you determine the output voltage of a differential amplifier based on an operational amplifier. At the output of the differential amplifier the voltage (Vout) is equal to the difference between V1 and V2, multiplied by a constant:

Vout= (R3+R1)×R4 ×V2 R3 ×V1

(R4+R2)×R1 R1

To suppress the common-mode component, i.e. to amplify the difference between V1 and V2, it is necessary to observe the ratio of the resistors' values:

R1 / R3 = R2 / R4

This calculator also displays the color coding and SMD codes for resistors used in the circuit.
