Ideal Diode Controller, Switching Between 2 High Current DC Power Supplies

A project that can be powered by a battery pack or a 5V input. The challage is for the device to favor the 5V power when it's there, but if it's disconnected it goes back to using battery power if it's there. The device shuld not shut off between supply switchin

Using a Schottky diode is the simplest solution and there will be no significant power loss on the diodes. Moreover, the 5 V specification allows +0.2 V or -0.55 V, which is comparable to the voltage drop on the Schottky diode.

But there is a second part of the task - do you need to disconnect the battery from charging (supplying voltage to it) during operation from USB? If disconnection is not necessary, choose a diode or IDEAL DIODE CONTROLLER IN SOT363 (DZDH0401DW). If disconnection of the battery is necessary, but you need to use two MOSFETs - as a switch.
