Keysight Technologies, Inc. has introduced the new i7090 massively parallel board test system. This is a new category of automated test equipment designed to perform tests in parallel, on multiple printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), to achieve high volume throughput which speeds time-to-market and reduces cost-of-test.

Yokogawa Test & Measurement Corporation announced the release of DL950 ScopeCorder, a high-precision data acquisition system, and two compatible input modules. The DL950 is the successor to the DL850 and DL850V ScopeCorder series that were released in 2010, and features a number of enhancements that improve both functionality and operability. In addition, two new input modules are being released for the DL950; these are the 720212, which is capable of reading data at 200 mega-samples per second (MS/s), and the 720256, which can read data from four input channels at 10 MS/s. By the fall of this year, Yokogawa will also release an optional flash acquisition function for the storage of high-sampling-rate data in embedded non-volatile memory.

With two new source measure units (SMU), Rohde & Schwarz enters a market previously not addressed by the power products of the test and measurement specialist. The performance of the new R&S NGU201 and R&S NGU401 SMUs enables simultaneous sourcing and measuring of currents and voltages with high precision.

Anritsu Company introduces expanded Forward Error Correction (FEC) analysis capability in its 116-Gbit/s PAM4 Error Detector (ED) MU196040B module for the Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A series bit error rate testers (BERTS).
