A really, really, really large number

The googol was invented in 1938 by mathematician Edward Kasner who asked his then 8-year-old nephew Milton Sirotta what he would name a really, really, really large number. A googol is a large number indeed: it is 1 followed by 100 zeroes in decimal representation.
